For the Tucker family, the Columbia River is not just a life-giving resource; it’s a daily reminder of what they are privileged to enjoy on their Horse Heaven Hills farm.
Passion & Compassion
Gratitude inspires the family’s commitment to bringing clean water—a gift often taken for granted—to communities in who need it most. Desert Moon’s Cabernet Sauvignon supports a crucial mission. $30 from each bottle of Cab went to fund clean water projects through Water From Wine. This non-profit changes lives by providing access to clean water around the world. Over $1.5 million has been raised.

Our outdoor space, shared with our neighbors- Coyote Canyon and Martinez & Martinez, is unmatched on warm, sunny day.

OUR VINEYARD STORY
Desert Moon vineyard was planted in 2023 among acreage of Sandpiper Farms, that was started by the family patriarch, Pat Tucker, in 1974. While the rest of the farm has slowly been leased out to various growers- the vineyard remains our own, a way that the family legacy of farming and agriculture has evolved into a love of viticulture and wine, to now be carried on to the next generation, and the next one after that.
On the farm we sit and witness the most beautiful sunsets, and then comes the glowing of the moon, setting just above the river, bathing our vineyard in a radiant glow.
